I can't open slender 0.9.7

i cant open the game for some reason

i extract all the files and place them in a folder, but when i click the application it doesnt do anything. i still have the older version of slender, idk if that might be the problem, help me please

What OS are you using? Did this problem happened only with 0.9.7?

Try to check if the game's process shows up when you start it. Maybe it's just not initializing correctly. If so, try downloading and
extracting the files again, just in case a something was corrupted. Also, check if you downloaded the correct version for your OS, and make sure your hardware is compatible with STEP (In case 0.9.6 was running fine, the problem probably isn't with hardware, but double-check just in case.)

i'm running on windows vista, and i had 0.9.5 and it worked just fine. I also downloaded it again before asking for help, and im 100% sure i downloaded the one for windows. when i click the application it loads for a second but nothing comes up at all, not even an error message or anything.

try to restart, check for updates...

is it happens only on 0.9.7?

i don't know how it works on Vista...
maybe on Control Panel or somthing.

so i made it work somehow. i just deleted the folder i had the files in, and moved the files to a new folder. and FORSOME reason it works now, my computer is trolling me.
